Big Bus Dream - October 6
"Those who didn’t catch the show missed a helluva show, to say the least. Imagine a fabulous foursome, in a small intimate setting like coffee shop, playing their hearts out as if they were in an arena filled with 50k screaming fans. I will say, the only thing missing was the attitude that comes with bands that play for crowds that size." Full Text
Big Bus Dream was ranked # 1 at Europe's Soundlift.com in April, 2006 in the Acoustic Pop and Psychedelic Rock genres.
The band received very enthusiastic reviews at Garageband.com for My Private Ghetto and was selected as Song of the Day in July, 2006.
David Cowling of Americana-UK, recently gave the self-titled debut CD 8 of 10 stars. He wrote: “These are old-fashioned protest songs at heart with a patina of new-coffee house folk (the Gourds) rather than any weird new Americana, so the songs deliver their messages pretty cleanly and in a way that is easily digested, they tell stories…enough variety and talent to keep me interested throughout.”
